John 1:1-3  In the beginning was the Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word Was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
